Curatorial Conversations Meet the Artist

The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a leading cultural institution dedicated to telling the stories and the histories of the Indigenous people of the Southwest—from their own perspective. Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, MIAC staff has continued to support, collaborate, and partner with our local communities.

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture/Laboratory of Anthropology is located on ancestral Pueblo land in so-called Santa Fe, New Mexico, or O’gha Po’oge. MIAC is one of four museums in the Museum of New Mexico system. MIAC is a premier repository of Native art and material culture and aims to share the arts, narratives, and lived experiences of Native people throughout the Southwest, from ancestral stories to contemporary art.
